The 2017 Annual Global Wellness Summit

It’s a call-to-action to launch the Wellness Moonshot Program. According to Susie Ellis, it is an attempt to pool resources together (knowledge, access and funding) to create a world free of preventable diseases, which can only be achieved through high-level collaboration from many of the health and wellness companies in each sector.

Dr. Oz (Mehmet Cengiz Öz), a cardiothoracic surgeon and professor at Columbia University is also a well known best-selling author and television personality.  His philosophy is to take away the barriers between the patient and their medicine. The Dr. Oz Show, a daily television program, focuses on medical issues and personal health.

Susie Ellis is recognized as one of the leading authorities on the multi-sector wellness industry, she is currently the chairman and CEO of the Global Wellness Institute (GWI), and heads up the organization’s annual Global Wellness Summit and Global Wellness Tourism Congress.
